Location: Cary, NC

Position Profile:
This high-energy individual is responsible for regular dynamic phone- and email-based interactions with a select group of contacts. She/he is creative and able to clearly and intelligently work through problems. This individual enjoys interacting with people and helping people meet their objectives. She/he is driven to succeed and finds satisfaction in delivering measurable results.

Responsibilities:
Execute dynamic phone- and email-based interactions on your client’s behalf. Respond to contact needs by delivering value. Creatively manage contacts to move them into a positive relationship with your client. Apply interpersonal skills and intelligence to the art of collecting and capturing meaningful information for your client.  Apply processes and training to facilitate the effective performance of responsibilities. Meet or exceed productivity standards for performance. Maintain high personal and professional standards of conduct and integrity.

Required Skills:    Excellent reading and writing skills. Strong verbal and written communicator. Effective listener. Creative problem solving skills. Outcome oriented with an attention to detail and a desire to exceed expectations. Friendly and enjoy interacting with people over the telephone or through email. Desire to learn.

Education:    College graduate. Will consider some college if skills are strong.

Summary:
The Relationship Specialist’s focus is on building relationships with targeted decision makers to penetrate and widen the scope of business opportunity for our clients. Relationships are developed by effectively executing the following duties and others as is appropriate:

  • Identifies correct contact for initial lead development
  • Gathers (and expands) intelligence on the target organization’s structure to include:
    • decision influencers and decision makers
    • corporate structure
    • business processes and challenges
    • IT infrastructure
    • Previous projects/implementations
    • Project profile: scope, timing, budget, decision maker(s)
  • Follow up execution
  • Follow up timing
  • Literature fulfillment
  • Documentation of all information gathered, actions taken and subjective information in the contact record
  • Maintains a thorough understanding of client’s business models
